According to the American Cancer Society, 1 in 2 people will develop cancer in their lifetimes.
With these statistics in mind, we want to expand our cancer care to better support our community.
Supportive cancer care services can help patients better tolerate treatment-related side effects to
reduce discomfort-resulting in less pain, and more support. Your participation will make it possible to
implement this care, right here at Corewell Health Greenville Cancer Care Center.
With your partnership, we will provide crucial support for patients and families on a cancer journey,
through services such as

• Wigs and boutique, to help people cope with the appearance-related effects of cancer
treatment.
• Massage and yoga, to increase relaxation, decrease pain and improve sleep.
• Acupuncture, to relieve side effects of chemotherapy such as nausea, fatigue and dry mouth.
• Music and art therapy, to decrease anxiety and stress through creative expression.

The wellness services offered at the Greenville Cancer Care Center will be delivered free of charge to our
patients, providing them with much needed support close to home throughout their cancer treatment.
